Laboratory Services:
The providers at Diamond Springs Wellness Center utilize many different laboratory tests to determine: metabolic function, nutritional deficiencies, genetic mutations, antibodies, various health risk factors, lipid levels, hormone levels, allergies, heavy metals, acute and chronic infections, and transmissible diseases. 
General Health Panels: General laboratory testing including: complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, vitamins, minerals, etc.

Men's Health Panel: General health panel including: Testosterone, DHEA, Dihydrotestosterone, Total/Free Prostate, and SHBG.

Women's Health Panel: General health panel including: Progesterone, total testosterone, prolactin, ovulation hormones, pregenalone, estradiol.

Thyroid Testing: Thyroid stimulating hormone, Free T3, Free T4, Thyroid Antibodies, Reverse T3

Cardiac Risk Profile: Used to determine the risk of a cardiac event (lipid panel, CRP, creatine kinase, Pro-BNP, arterial calcium score

Comprehensive Stool Testing: Stool collection test to verify presence of pathogenic bacteria, cryptosporidium, giardia, yeast, C. Difficile as well as other pathogenic organisms; micro-biome testing

Intestinal Permeability: used primarily to assess leaky-gut and malabsorption

IgE and IgG Allergy Screening for Foods, Additives, and Environmental Allergies: to determine if allergies are contributing to current symptoms

Adrenal Stress/Cortisol: saliva collected four times throughout the day to determine peak and trough stress hormone response

Auto-Immune Testing: Testing for antibodies and lymphocytes that are produced against naturally occuring substances in the body (Thyroid antibodies, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, etc.)

Glucose Tolerance Testing with Insulin:
Status assessment of hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and insulin resistance

Heavy Metal Challenge: Urine collection following DMPS challenge to determine if there are toxic metals in the body

Microbial Diagnostic DNA Testing: Respiratory, genital, urinary, and would identification of bacteria, virus, and fungi.

Chronic Infections: Epstein-Barr Virus, Cytomegalovirus, Mycoplasma Pneumonia, Parvovirus B19, Candida, H. Pylori, Intestinal infections, etc.

Lyme Disease Testing: EliSpot from Armin Labs, Western Blot, iGenx
Immune response testing for Lyme assosciated immunoglobulins. Used to determine infection status, activity, and responsiveness to treatment.

Genetic Testing: Testing for specific genetic risk factors and various genetic mutations, such as genetic response to anti-depressants, etc.

MTHFR: Determines mutations of the Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase genes

STI: HIV screening, Herpes Simplex I, II, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis

Hereditary Cancer Testing: Cancer risk assessment for genetic family history of various cancer types.

Circulating Tumor Cell: Verify if there are cancer cells circulating in the blood, a sign of metastisis.

Cancer Sensitivity Testing: Used to determine effectiveness of various chemotherapeutic agents and natural substances
